What data is collected?

Reservation

In order to make your hotel reservation, we collect the data required for booking. These are in particular the names of the customer, the traveler(s); Telephone and fax number, e-mail address, if applicable your address and credit card number, as well as arrival and departure date, the selected hotel, room categories, cancellation conditions and the IP address.

Request by email

The questions to us about existing bookings or general inquiries will be archived for a short time after completion and deleted after 60 days.

Login/Registriete user

You have the opportunity to register on our website and to enter your contact details. Registered users benefit from a faster and more convenient booking process.

newsletter

You can register the free newsletter of eHotel AG subscribe to, which you will receive by email. The subscription can be terminated at any time.

Use of Socia plugins from Facebook, Twitter, Misterwong and others, among others

Our website uses social plugins (“plugins”) from social networks on several pages – e.g. from facebook.com. data transfer

The data required for the reservation will be passed on to the hotel you choose. Hotels may use a central reservation system, e.g., a hotel chain, to process the reservation. In principle, data will not be passed on, sold or rented out to third parties. Only statutory or official orders are excluded from this.

archiving

As part of the legal regulations, we are required to document and archive business processes (accounting / HGB). Data that is not covered by these archiving obligations is regularly deleted; E.g. credit card data after booked departure date.

data security

Security-relevant data is encrypted and transmitted during the posting process using the 256-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method. The currently used encryption depends, among other things, on the browser used. Our IT infrastructure is optimized according to the standards of the BSI (Federal Office for Information Security) to ensure the highest possible security against the loss or misuse of the data.
